I make this ‘ice-cream’ often and even though it is more of a cross between frozen yogurt and sorbet, it still goes down a treat. You will need an ice-cream maker but they are so inexpensive and a great thing to have in your kitchen.

I make this cheese ball often just to have in the fridge to serve with crackers, baked potatoes, or on toasted bread. You can make it in a food processer with the mixing blade, as opposed to the cutting blade, but squishing it through your fingers is just as good.

This cake is low in fat but still tastes good. Banana cake is best eaten fresh or within a day, as it gets pretty sticky after that. Use your overripe bananas for all banana cake recipes — it is a great way to get rid of them.

This recipe is a variation on our peanut cookies. It uses the same easy format of melting the butter instead of creaming it with the sugar. Use a combo of white and brown sugar or just one or the other if you prefer.
