Hi My name is Maria Cowie, but my family call me M and this is my blog. 5 Cows Cook was inspired as a way to record recipes from the Cowie family, recipes that our mum Rita taught us, and recipes that we want to pass on to our children. Our style is easy, rustic cooking which includes the basics of “how to” – from cooking corned beef to making a healthy dressing for a green salad.
